Which course do you need?
The entry point to the wind industry is GWO BST — the Basic Safety Training that employers ask for most often. If you are starting out, look at the BST packages. Take an individual module when you are missing one specific area, and for renewal open the Refresher page.

Practical work happens at the Bulgarian Maritime Training Centre ground in Varna — on a training tower and in water, with the module's equipment.

WINDY BG is a training centre in Varna, founded in 2025, for technical and safety training of professionals in renewable energy. Our aim is an industry with qualified people, ready for the real work on the wind farms.
The programmes follow GWO standards — with verifiable provider status in the official registry and a WINDA record for every completed course. The training is practical, in an environment close to the real thing — for beginners and experienced professionals alike, from the first certificate to the next renewal.

Questions
What is WINDA?
WINDA is GWO’s global online registry. Before your first course you create a free profile and receive a personal WINDA ID; every completed course is recorded against it. An employer can check your completed training online by your ID.
Basic or Refresher?
For first-time training, open the Basic course. A Refresher is the renewal route when the validity of your current certificate meets the conditions. Check the expiry date in WINDA and read the requirements on the specific course page.
Does “Enrol” guarantee a place?
“Enrol” sends a request. The team checks whether you can join and then sends the joining instructions. The course is confirmed once the full fee is paid. Your request is free and does not commit you.
Where does training take place?
Training is in Varna. The exact venue for your chosen course comes with the confirmation of your request.
