What you will do on this course
Boat Transfer is a segment of the full GWO Sea Survival module. It is also offered on its own — but in that case the certificate is issued by WINDY BG, not by GWO. If you need a GWO certificate, the course you want is the full sea survival module.

Conditions for taking part
Who it is forPeople working offshore who have to transfer from a vessel.
Prior trainingNot required.
PrerequisitesA completed Medical Self-assessment form before the start.
Medical requirementsThe health self-assessment applies to every course. Swimming ability is not required — it is declared on the form.
DocumentsPhoto ID, mandatory.
What to bringA towel, pool slippers and swimwear.

How the day works

Before the session
You complete the Medical Self-assessment form and bring photo ID, a towel, slippers and swimwear.

In practice
The exercise runs at the Bulgarian Maritime Training Centre ground. The lifejacket, survival suit, helmet and workwear are provided by the centre.

Completion
The certificate is issued by WINDY BG.
Attendance alone does not promise successful completion or a certificate.
